Raul clashes with Diarra at Real Madrid training

11 10 2006
Raul clashed with Mahamadou Diarra at Real Madrid training yesterday. The Mali international clattered into Antonio Cassano during a bounce game and later also battered Raul, which sparked a furious reaction from the club captain. Raul turned on Diarra, but the big African shrugged him off. It took coach Fabio Capello and Emerson to calm the tense stand-off. However, at the end of the session, Diarra and Raul were spotted laughing and joking.

wow……and to think Raul and Diarra to fight is something very enexpected..i would think like Cassano and Ronaldo or something like that but not Raul and Diarra….anyways it looks like they made up 😛

Ronaldo-Van Nistelrooy Axis Promises Real Results

8 10 2006
Fabio Capello has used the fact that both the Brazilian and the Dutchman haven’t been called up – or refused the call-up – to test out the possibility of many a football fan’s front line dream: Ronaldo-Van Nistelrooy as the Merengue strike force. Both high-profile centre-forwards were tried out side by side in a game which pitted members of the A team against a team formed by Real Madrid C players. In an eight-goal game the good news for hopeful fans is that five of the goals were stamped with a ‘Van Ronaldo’ seal. Ronaldo and Ruud Van Nistelrooy proved that rumours that both are incompatible on a pitch are just that: a load of hot air. The Brazilian FenĂŽmeno looked meaner and leaner than before, helping to rinse away distasteful memories from the WC where he arrived weighing 96kg. Capello fielded the following first eleven, obviously modified by the various call-ups for the Euro 2008 and assorted friendly matches: Diego LĂłpez, MejĂa, PavĂłn, RaĂșl Bravo, Roberto Carlos; Beckham, DiarrĂĄ, Emerson, Guti; Van Nistelrooy and Ronaldo.

Its good to c them together and capello’s head……..finally he tried them out and i predict an amazing 60 goals together…….

Brazil Game

8 10 2006

(btw sry i didnt take photos but this is wat i got from the game)

It was an enjoyable night of football in Kuwait City as Dunga’s Brazil showed that it’s not just the big names who can make a difference. A Robinho who is lacking club minutes showed just why he should be given them, and Rafael Sóbis showed tenacious never-say-die spirit up front, whereas Kaká showed his habitual talent

Lol i went to the game and had one of the best seats since all the corners and 3 goals were all on our side 😛 i just wish the stadium was bigger cause it pissed me off when i went out to get refreshments i stepped on every body and it took me 15 minutes to get to my seat while if it was empty i would have reached it in 3 seconds. The bad part was that no one sat in their seats….everyone was sitting on the steps and were standing next to the entrance so i cant get out (bastards) and then they give me a look like y u going out :S?? m like fuck u its ur problem since ur standing there….of course thats a start of a fight in kuwait but i handled it pretty well (well it wasent me it was the guard that stopped us :p) anyways i had fun just watching Robinho and Kaka and many others except Ronaldinho since on TV it showed everyone like Ronaldinho when in reality it was Robinho…..but dam the kuwaiti crowd sucks i mean the wave was fun at first but after 15 times it gets lame…..the girls overpowered the boys since they had the majority…it was a good game since Kuwait club played their hearts out and looked at their idoll own them lool…the part where i laughed my ass off when PELE said and i quote “I LOVE KUWAITI” xD omg he said it wrong in front of 25,000 people but who cares loool. In the end it was an oppurtunity that not many have and i will tell this story to my kids and grand kids (if i get any)

Emerson Asks For Fans’ Patience

6 10 2006
Brazilian midfielder Emerson has given his views on his own and the Merengue team’s performance at the start of a 2006-7 season. Unhappy fans are demanding that Real Madrid not only break the trophy drought that has marred the past three years, but also does so in style. The player responded to questions during a live interview with Spanish radio station ‘Onda Madrid’, showing a certain amount of calm mixed with surprise at the harsh reactions to how the Merengues have been playing.

As to the boos and whistles directed at the team – and especially at the number 8 – in their BernabĂ©u home, Emerson was perplexed but self-confident. “I must admit that I don’t really understand it. We try to do what we can to play well and win.”

“Playing at the BernabĂ©u is really hard when you come with a visiting team, and with the fans behind the team it makes it even more difficult. That’s why it’s good for the fans to support us rather than criticise”, added the veteran.

“Personally, it really doesn’t bother me as I know what I can offer to Madrid and to my team-mates on the pitch.” He did, however, admit that there was room for improvement. “I could do with improving my game a little as I’ve always been a player who’s made the difference.”

Emerson also highlighted that “Constructive criticism is always a good thing to hear, but it must be constructive. This Real Madrid is still coming together, it’s a new team and there needs to be time to fine tune both as a team and as individuals”.

I believe in everything Emerson said and i hope for a good season…..

Inter Milan push for ÂŁ15M Buffon deal

5 10 2006

Inter Milan patron Massimo Moratti will try again for Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon in January. Moratti was turned down by Buffon over the summer, but is determined to land a quality goalkeeper for coach Roberto Mancini during the winter market. On the table is a ÂŁ15 million offer for Juve and a ÂŁ4 million-a-year deal for Buffon to consider. The stumbling block for Inter, apart from Buffon’s reluctance, is city rivals AC Milan. It’s been revealed Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani met with Juve supremo Giovanni Cobolli Gigli yesterday. Galliani admitted earlier this week they will sign a top quality replacement should Dida fail to sign new terms.Hes one of the best goal keepers and one my inspirations when i play as a goalkeeper…..U know i would like to c him in AC Milan instead of Inter Milan because he deserves a better team than Inter because he would be just wasting time in Inter and he dosent deserve that…..

Robinho declares commitment to Real Madrid

5 10 2006
Robinho has moved to end speculation over his future at Real Madrid. The Brazilian winger has been linked with Juventus and AC Milan this season, but told AS: “I have never thought about leaving. I only think about working very hard to convince (coach Fabio) Capello. The season is long and we all will have our opportunities. My family and I am happy in Madrid.” From Brazil, the player’s representative, Wagner Ribeiro, also declared: “Robinho is calm because he knows that he belongs to the best club in the world.
“Robinho has sufficient quality to play, but in his position there are players like Ronaldo, Cassano, Van Nistelrooy and Raul. It’s important to go little by little.”

Finally, Robinho said wat was on his mind cause he scared the hell out of me when he was linked to Fiorentina and Milan (although i didnt believe it)….. He is an amazing player and can be a legend at the Bernabeu

Barca To Challenge Real For Gago?

5 10 2006

Barcelona will make their interest in Boca Juniors midfielder Fernando Gago known at the weekend, according to Spanish daily Marca. Real Madrid have been strongly linked with a move for the youngster over the last few days, with Gago declaring it would be a ‘dream’ to play for the Merengues. But it now appears that the player also appeals to Barcelona. President Joan Laporta and technical director Txiki Begiristain are already in Argentina on other business, but will also use the visit to express their interest in Gago. On Sunday, according to Marca, they will attempt to meet with Boca chief Mauricio Macri to ask about Gago’s transfer status. This guy is amazing…..I call him the new “Redondo” he is really the missing jigsaw in Real Madrid and it would be a nightmare if he played with Barca……!!
